De S5 is the sportversion of the E-range and uses lighter composite materials in the interior and Harken performance deck equipement.

This Elan S5 is filled with options such as a electric windlass, cockpit lighting and cushions, AIS, Forte regatta sails, swimmingplatform and many more.

The cockpit is spacious to sail with crew or family and the helmsman has good overview from behind of the wheel. With the foldable footbracket even when sailing on angle, it is a comfortabel place to sit. The cockpitbench has an integrated footsupport when sitting on the side. The Mainsheet traveller is recessed in the cockpitfloor and the sheets are within reach on the winch near the helm.

Thanks to Elan's adjustable plotterpods, you can look at the chartplotter when standing or sitting without having to crotch down or move sideways.

The 3-cabin layout is wide and modern and has support throughout the boat. On the right is the L-shaped galley with gimballed 3-ring stove with oven and toploader fridge and opposite is the spacious heads with shower.

The saloon has a foldable table with alongside sofa which can be converted to an extra sleep.

In the bow is a double V-berth with cabinets and shelving and underneath storage.

The Aft cabins are identical and provides room for double bed, cabinets and shelving, all cabins are equipped with 230V sockets when on shorepower.
