Wonderful day at the Ijsselmeer or Markermeer
From the picturesque and historic center of Enkhuizen we hoist the sails of the comfortable and fully equipped Bavaria 46 Cruiser. With a length of 15 meters and a spacious cockpit, we can introduce a maximum of 8 people to the world from the water. On quieter and sunny days you can also enjoy a large fatboy on deck.
Along the way you can enjoy it actively or passively, take a seat behind the helm or trim the sails!
A whole day is the best, for example other port cities such as Medemblik, Hoorn or Hindeloopen can be visited where you can have lunch on shore.
A visit to the “Markerwadden” nature reserve is also within reach, where there is a nice walking route among the birds and nature.
Day rental with skipper from 9:30 AM to approximately 5:30 PM €950,-including some snacks and soft drinks.

Sail along for a few hours and clear your head
Choose a half day to spend a few hours in a unique setting. Enjoy the peace and quiet on the water and the rippling water around you. Of course, active sailing is very welcome, but just enjoying yourself is also allowed!
From Enkhuizen we make a short(er) round for part of the day, depending on the wind, towards Medemblik or Stavoren, is there little wind? No problem, if discussed in advance the SUPS can be inflated and that also provides some fun on the water.

Active team building on the water
Sailing is the perfect team building sport for entrepreneurs, there is also a hierarchy on board and tasks must be held accountable and discussed. Just like on the company floor, communication is very important, the skipper can shout what needs to be done, but if the sails are not adjusted, the ship will not move forward.
Back to basics, under the supervision of an experienced skipper and entrepeneur, the course is set and playfully guided back to the business world with various references.
What happens if a team member loosen the sheet or the manager decides to literally take a different course with the company without consultation? On board we immediately see how sound business operations deliver results.
Full day 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM including some (soft) drinks €995,– incl. VAT. In consultation, a fully catered catering or lunch can be provided on shore.

While enjoying a sail, future boat owners can discuss what to take into account when purchasing their future ship with an experienced yacht broker from Connect Yachtbrokers. As a yacht broker, we receive questions every day from potential buyers about whether a certain type of ship can meet their intended use.
While sailing on a Bavaria 46 Cruiser you may experience certain advantages and disadvantages in practice, such as:
An traveller in the cockpit? Nice for the active sailor, but difficult if you want a bimini and sail in the MED. Are you sailing with 2 people or are you looking for a ship that is family-friendly with 3 or more cabins and what does this mean for storage space?
This way you can experience various components in practice in a playful way. In addition, an important and valuable “tool” is that the yacht broker has a software program with which he can compare dozens of sold ships on sales prices and specifications, giving you a real insight of todays market.
