"Queen of Hearts is a Sparkman and Stephens design Swan 47'9″ CB, built in 1977. Despite her age, the boat is highly regarded and one of the most beautiful and pedigrees in the world of sailing. The ship is in very good condition for her age, under the watchful eye of a skilled captain".

Description:
General: Swan 47 (Mk.2), nr.27, 09/77, model NYYC48, throat-centerboard,
LOA 14.60m/47'9", beam
4.20m/14', draft 1.80m/6' board up, 2.9m/9'8' board down.
Hull above waterline: Sprayed, first time 2013 Snow White Awlgrip orig. water & cove lines spraypainted with blue Awlgrip poly urethane 2013.

Swan 47/27 originally delivered by Nautor without teak on the side decks & cabin top, bridge deck &
cockpit. Teak renewed in 2010, in very good shape.
Hull under waterline: Coated with 6 coats VC10 epoxy tar (no osmosis, neither at present nor in fits).
Dinghy:
- AB 330 Allu 2009 with 18HP Tohatsu 2014
- Spare Dinghy with 2 HP Yamaha. (Leaks)

Rigging & Sails
2 Reckmann "2000" furlers. Forestay and Backstay replaced by Navtec rod 2017 by Florida Rigging,
Spectra furling lines for Reckmann furlers,
New mast, complete with new spreaders and all new hardware in May-96 new boom, with 3 reefing
lines + line for flattener + line for clew outhaul.
2 spinnaker poles orig. all new standing rigging, Navtec rod and Dyeform 1x19 for lower shrouds (as
original rigging) febr. 2017 insulated backstay with Norseman insulators Self tailing Lewmar #44 on
the mast, for main halyard Lewmar #8 for clew outhaul. Fold-away aluminium mast steps up to 1st
spreaders (partly installed) 2012 Doyl full batten mainsail. Vinylester round battens, 3/4" and 1/2",
on Frederickson ball bearing cars and BattSlide "331" batten tensioners and slides on mainsail luff.
Hood staysail, North Gennaker, approx. 1800 sq.ft, red/white/blue . ATN chute for Gennaker, North
headsail 120% (?) #1 Doyle, 120% 2011 (?), Sunbrella lazy jacket cover for mainsail. 2011 pacific blue,
Goretex stitching, Navtec hydraulic boom vang & backstay tensioner, with pump/control panel in
cockpit overhauled in 2013 FKG/SXM and by Hydro/Curacao 12/2018
2 electric Anderson 65 winches.
All other winches are standard, and re-chromed in 2014.

Nautor stanchions and spares.

Pacific blue Sunbrella covers on all winches idem, wind scoop with
anti-rain panel and mosquito screen on foredeck hatch, stainless steel bimini frame over cockpit
area. Pacific blue Sunbrella bimini, Goretex stitched, arge, mainly transparent, wind/rain dodger
attachable to bimini, Goretex stitched. Mosquito screens on all hatches.
2 x "SeaBreeze" wind scoops for portholes
2 perspex covers on steering stand (for inspecting steering chain)
Removable teak cockpit table with custom stainless steel supports . Teak bin/support for table on
steering pedestal. Teak/perspex protection for 6 Raymarine cockpit indicators 2015 stainless tubing
helmsman support/protection frame over compass. Forespar Nova outboard engine hoist Teak
support for 18 hp outboard engine on pushpit Heavy duty 3/8" stainless counterplate 15"x15" + teak
base for windlass. 3 Lewmar bronze winch handles. Stainless steel swimming/emergency ladder with
attachment points on both side decks.

Interior note
Adaptions and work on interior teak carried out by S. Visser of Workum, The Netherlands, executed
maintenance and quality of finish exactly original Nautor style. All floor boards fitted with 3/4"x1/4"
teak slats on all sides, to repair and prevent splintering replaced 2 pilot berths in main cabin by 2
extra cabinets, 6 drawers and 8 bookshelves, waste bin fitted in galley, using lower 3 drawers
(instead of plastic bin under stairs) widened stairs of main entry by approx 4.5" changed closed radio
panel at nav. station into modular shelve system to enable easy adaption to new electronics and to
provide adequate ventilation for radio transmitter etc. Fitted shelf for Radar/Plotter Raymarine C90
and Garmin GPS at nav. Station, finished all edges of saloon table with teak slats, fitted shelves and
racks in all storage spaces, fitted teak grating in fridge fixed all ceiling parts using stainless ; fitted
new counter tops in galley, restored teak frame or large foredeck sliding, hatch narrowed parts or
(too wide) shelves projecting over berths in aft cabin. New stainless steel steps in aft cabin entrance
in combination with better isolation of freezer top to prevent condensation.
