More about the 39 Kielmidzwaard

Koopmans is known for its comfortable and solid sailing characteristics. The aluminum Koopmans 39 which we offer is from her 2nd owner who has maintained her with great care.

Because of her keel centreboard you can take the Koopmans 39 to the most idyllic places and still have good sailing characteristics when the centreboard is down (2.60m).

The cockpit is sheltered from the elements and with the originally raised superstructure and cockpit edges she is very comfortable. All sheets are within easy reach and hoisting the mainsail is done at the mast. The gunwales are wide and have a coarse anti-slip paint system (2015).
For long(er) voyages the ship is very suitable, the Robertson autopilot is placed with a hydraulic pump directly on the quadrant and equipped with a remote control. For a longer crossing the BWS stainless steel wind vane can be mounted on the stern.

The interior is light and spacious, the various prisms in the deck giving a pleasant natural light. To port is the U-shaped galley with 3-burner stove and top loading refrigerator and on the other side the navigation table with various built-in appliances. In the saloon there is a cosy round seat with various storage spaces and a passage to the front point with a double V-berth, cupboard space and the Wallas stove. In the stern is a double bed and the wet cell.

Are you looking for a good sailing yacht, with an enormous sailing area, then this Koopmans 39 is definitely worth a visit!

Additional information:

Andries Folmer from Rijs (Netherlands) built the hull and Wim van Veen / Holland Interyachts from Stellendam built the interior.

All metals on the ship are galvanically isolated.

Peter Bakker designed the electrical system, all cables and installation was done in-house. All wiring is in PVC pipes and in the prescribed colors.

The system is carried out as a fully floating network, so there is no earth connected to the hull. Electrical diagrams and construction drawings are available.
