More about the 340 Lagoon

The Bavaria 340 Lagoon is a soldide ship which was a formidable competitor in new builds of Hallberg-Rassy and Swan, among others. Thus, this Bavaria 340 hull is extra reinforced with Kevlar and a pleasure to sail. The current owners have sailed her for about 25 years, mainly on fresh water, but unfortunately have to offer her for sale due to health reasons.
They have maintained her nicely and she enjoys several renewals and upgrades which include the sail wardrobe, cockpit/tube cover and equipment.
The cockpit has good seating and all lines run to the cockpit. Behind the (half) fixed sprayhood you sit nicely sheltered and and have the sheets and halyards within easy reach. Here is chosen for an under deck Raymarine autopilot which is very steady on course, even at higher wind speeds, the Raymarine plotter with AIS also makes you visible to the ships around you.

The saloon has a cozy layout with a longitudinal galley equipped with 3-burner stove with oven, double sink and top loading refrigerator. With a simple flap, you also utilize the stove area as a prep station. The chart table on the port side is equipped with various built-in appliances such as diesel heater, repeater for wind, VHF radio, remote control for the autopilot and radio.
The cozy U-bench is equipped with storage space and hanging locker and is very cozy, in the bow is a double V-bed with generous (300liter) water tank under it and its own sink.
In the stern is the wet room with shower and toilet and an aft cabin for 2 persons with again a sink.

Are you looking for a good sailing ship with limited (1.45m) draft, then this well maintained Bavaria 340 Lagoon is definitely worth a visit!
